For
this CD Eddie reaches back to when
he first began performing with
his band, The Grapes of Wrath,
still as Eddie Mahoney from Long
Island, NY.
He gives outstanding vocal performances on such sixties
classics as Jackie Wilson's "Higher & Higher",
Sam & Dave's "Hold On I'm Comin" and The Foundations "Baby
Now That I Found You".
Eddie's daughter, Jessica, makes her recording
debut singing with her dad on Marvin Gaye & Tammi
Terrell's classic duet "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".
Eddie leaned on his longtime keyboardist, Randy Forrester,
to produce this CD. Forrester, originally from Memphis,TN,
has produced and/or performed on countless numbers
of independent and label recordings in his 30 year
career.
The musicians on the CD are an all-star cast with members
of TOWER OF POWER, STARSHIP, GREG ALLMAN BAND and the
ETTA JAMES BAND laying down the tracks.
