Eddie Money Headlines Weishfest 2015

Saturday, was the second annual WeishFest took over and transformedStandard Bank Stadium in Crestwood, IL to a concert venue. This annual fundraising event to support The Andrew Weishar Foundation event was a great success, putting aside the oppressing heat.

The Andrew Weishar Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Weishar and his legacy of helping others to live with faith, courage, and strength. Their mission is to provide immediate resources to families with adolescents or young adults stricken with cancer. They provide financial assistance to these families in need and dedicate themselves to these acts of kindness and generosity.

The last act of the night was the headliner Eddie Money. With hits like “Two Tickets To Paradise,” “Baby Hold On,” “Walk On Water,” “Think I’m In Love” and “Shakin,” Money has sold more than 28 million records, with many of his songs appearing in film, television and video games. An accomplished musician who sings, writes, and plays the saxophone, harmonica and piano, he continues to be one of the hardest working men in rock and roll, performing about 150 shows every year. He gave a crowd pleasing performance to finish the all-day music of Weishfest with a bang.
